About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Inspections and Maintenance Supervisor (WS-5378-10) to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Maintenance Group, 412th Maintenance Squadron, Aerospace Ground Equipment Flight (412 MXS/MXMG) at Edwards Air Force Base.
The primary purpose of this position is to exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) inspections and maintenance activities.

Typical 2026 salary range: $59.79 - $69.75 per hour (includes locality)
Travel Requirements: up to 25% travel possible

Desired Skills:
-4 years of Aerospace Ground Equipment experience desired
-Ability to foster a culture of technical excellence, safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
-Strong organizational skills for balancing production requirements, training, inspections, personnel issues, and administrative requirements.
Major Duties:
- Plans weekly/monthly use of personnel, equipment, and facilities for AGE maintenance.
- Establishes deadlines, priorities, and adjusts workflows to handle emergent tasks.
- Administers the flight's Quality Control program and inspects completed maintenance work.
- Assigns work and provides direct troubleshooting guidance on complex systems.
- Investigates maintenance delays or high costs and implements corrective actions.
- Identifies competency gaps, schedules technical classes, and conducts hands-on OJT.
- Creates individual performance plans, provides constant and consistent feedback, and writes annual appraisals.
- Manages and approves leave, recommends promotions, and manages position structures.
- Resolves employee complaints and participates in employee and labor management matters with senior HR professionals
- Enforces safety/PPE rules, security protocols, and ensures an equitable work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical
- Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of Aerospace Ground Equipment services and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/Equal Employment Treatment.
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and test equipment for maintenance, service, and delivery of powered and non-powered AGE.
- Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
