About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Project Management Specialist (NH-1101-04) to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Electronic Warfare Group, 445th Test Squadron (445 TS/EWJ) at Edwards Air Force Base.
Serve as the Deputy PM, Joint Simulation Environment - Air Force (JSE), 412th Electronic Warfare Group, 412th Test Wing, Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC). Support the overall effort for building and delivering JSE as a modeling and simulation capability as part of the AFTC test & evaluation portfolio. Responsibilities include overall leadership, management and systems engineering process functions for all Integrated Product Teams. This includes concept development, MILCON design/build, simulation material acquisitions, and architecture development. This overall effort directly supports the AFTC, EWG, & 772d TS missions.

Typical 2026 salary range: $ 146,632 - $197,200 per year (includes locality)
Travel Requirements: Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) by military or commercial aircraft approximately 60 days per year.

Major Duties:
-May supervise or direct up to 75 multi-disciplined civilian and military personnel and lead contractor personnel in the execution of Joint Simulation Environment {JSE) acquisition program. Evaluate and/or provide performance inputs, review appraisals, resolve complaints, affect disciplinary action, and recommend action in serious cases IAW AF and OPM processes.
-Provide program management and leadership expertise to the Joint Simulation Environment {JSE) mission. Formulate and apply appropriate program management policy, goals, objectives, and priorities to ensure validity, efficiency, and credibility in the acquisition of JSE
-Responsible to AFTC senior management for maintaining a core of technical program management expertise of JSE and for the integration of future EW weapon system's T&E capabilities requirements.
-Represent the 412 EWG and AFTC in JSE related meetings with other agencies, contractors, other Services, and using commands. Coordinate with, and provide responses to, various agencies within the contractor, DoD, and international test community. Communicate JSE project status to the JSE executive board and other stakeholders.
-Implement quality management programs and develop adequate metrics for measuring JSE program status, to include ensuring establishment of sound program baselines in cost, schedule and performance, measuring program progress against the established baselines.
-Develop/apply advanced project management processes applicable to test infrastructure development and acquisition.

- Expert knowledge of program/project management practices and principles with emphasis on Agile management processes
- Strong knowledge of managing and coordinating the development/integration of modeling and simulation (M&S) environments and understands the Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) environments concepts
- Expert knowledge of advanced concepts, principles, and techniques for managing multiple interrelated and integrated projects.
