About the Role:

Full Time / 9W021 / 4206-WG-09 / Plumber / 96 TW / 96 CEG / 796CES / CEORV / EGLIN AFB, FL.

Primary purpose of this position is to perform plumbing.

Typical 2026 salary range: $64,522 - $75,234 Per Year

Desired Skills:

Looking for a Full-Time Plumber who works well with others, has a positive attitude, and is self-motivated. Experience in New and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems/equipment. Able to install, maintain, and repair sewage, water, water closet, tubs, backflow prevention devices, showers, faucets, pvc lines, copper line, and valves.

Major Duties:

- Experience in New and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems/equipment. Able to install, maintain, and repair sewage, water, water closet, tubs, backflow prevention devices, showers, faucets, pvc lines, copper line, and valves.

- Makes repairs to plumbing by removing, cleaning, replacing, packing, and sealing defective parts of utility, supply, and disposal systems

- Performs new plumbing and repair on existing plumbing fixtures

- Performs routine maintenance on Plumbing fixtures

- Utilizes safety practices and procedures

- Uses and maintains tools and equipment.      

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period
  • Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest
  • Designated drug testing position
  • Must be able to pass a preemployment physical
  • Knowledge of installing new plumbing.
  • Knowledge of new and existing utility, supply, and disposal systems/equipment. Able to install, maintain, and repair sewage, water, water closet, tubs, backflow prevention devices, showers, faucets, pvc lines, copper line, and valves.
