About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supervisory Munitions and Ordnance Specialist (NH-0301-02) to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Maintenance Group, 412th Maintenance Squadron/Munitions Flight (MXMW) at Edwards AFB, in Edwards, California
In this position you will provide for the proper security, accountability, management and utilization of all munitions assets and associated equipment assigned to the Air Force Test Center and its tenant units. Provides management oversight of all functions and activities of Munitions Sections and supervises assigned personnel.

Typical 2026 salary range: $47,490-$113,185 per year (includes Locality)
Travel Requirements: 25%
Areas of Consideration (AOC): Installation - wide (Edwards Air Force Base)
Desired Skills:
- 2 years of Munitions Control experience desired
- 2 years of Dispatch experience desired.
- 2 years of Munitions Operations or Stockpile Surveillance
Major Duties:
- Technically and administratively supervises and manages civilian flight element supervisors.
- Evaluates personnel according to established performance standards.
- Effective and efficient management of the munitions stockpile.
- Provides oversight management of standard and non-standard, one-of-a-kind munitions and related test/support equipment.
- Assists Munitions Accountable Systems Office with accountability oversight and stockpile procedures.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance.
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position.
- In depth knowledge of munitions Stockpile management.
- In depth knowledge munitions assembly, maintenance and storage policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of Air Force Theater Integrated Combat Munitions System, Tactical Missile Records System and Munitions Control-2K.
- Knowledge of Munitions Operations, Custody Account management, and System Program Office database
