About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Executive Administrator (NK-0318-02) for the 96th Range Group at Eglin AFB, FL.
At the 96th Test Wing, we test and evaluate state-of-the-art weapon systems and cyber capabilities, provide quality installation and mission support, and serve as responsible stewards of our resources to deliver war-winning capabilities. The 96th Range Group, through its 5 squadrons, provides airborne and range instrumentation, infrastructure, facilities and technical expertise to support accomplishing the 96th Test Wing’s mission on the Eglin Test and Training Complex.
The Executive Administrator is the lead administrator for the 96th Test Group community and as such will coordinate standardized correspondence and task tracking processes for all official documentation within and without the 96th Range Group. The incumbent will represent 96th Test Group administrative products and process to the 96th Test Wing administrative team and ensure all correspondence, whether physical or virtual, is processed according the standards and policies established by the 96th Test Wing front office. Furthermore, he or she shall function as the quality control of all such correspondence ensuring correct grammar, spelling, content quality and response completeness for products leaving the 96th Range Group. The incumbent cooperates with the 96th Range Group Executive Officer to manage executives’ and executive conference room schedules in Microsoft Outlook, maintain the various distribution lists, keep the group birthday list current with personnel transitions, receive front office guests, answer telephone calls, screen access to the group executives, coordinate shipping and receiving of physical mail, prepare appreciation cards, create and maintain organization charts and emergency binders, order and collect awards and other recognition artifacts from on or off-installation vendors, maintain the supply cabinet and assist the executive officer with other miscellaneous, job-related errands. The incumbent will be a trusted agent managing or facilitating records management, drug testing program coordination, personnel actions and records and manage the group front office budget. Finally, the Executive Administrator is the chief timekeeper for the group and is responsible to ensure timekeeping records are properly logged, verified & approved for each pay period.

Typical 2026 salary range: Value of Position: $40,736 - $65,599 per year (includes Locality)

Desired Skills:

Major Duties:
- Compose, route and deliver executive correspondence
- Develop and maintain correspondence and presentation templates
- Review and process correspondence for applicability, appropriate grammar and proper spelling
- Answer telephone calls, coordinate conference calls, schedule appointments and advise 96th Range Group executives when schedule conflicts arise
- Manage the Outlook calendars of the 96th Range Group executives and the group conference room
- Administer the timekeeping system for the 96th Range Group.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship

- Knowledge of office functions and commitments of supervisors and staff to prepare and review correspondence, screen telephone calls and visitors, maintain supervisor's calendar and perform other substantive or administrative work of the organization
- Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization and format to accurately prepare and edit correspondence, presentations and reports
