About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Executive Officer (NH-0343-03) for the 96th Range Group at Eglin AFB, FL.
At the 96th Test Wing, we test and evaluate state-of-the-art weapon systems and cyber capabilities, provide quality installation and mission support, and serve as responsible stewards of our resources to deliver war-winning capabilities. The 96th Range Group, through its 5 squadrons, provides airborne and range instrumentation, infrastructure, facilities and technical expertise to support accomplishing the 96th Test Wing’s mission on the Eglin Test and Training Complex.
The Executive Officer will supervise a small team of Front Office personnel supporting 96th Range Group executives leading and managing the Eglin Test and Training Complex. The incumbent will be the trusted agent operating the annual contribution assessment and compensation tool, CAS2Net, for the 450 civilians in the group. He or she will also orchestrate the weekly Board of Directors meeting, ensure pertinent data are collected from subordinate units for group executives briefing at multiple weekly and monthly 96th Test Wing meetings and monitor compliance with continuing education certifications, training, risk management, anti-terrorism and many other defined programs for the 96th Range Group. The incumbent will establish and maintain a compliant records management system with policies and procedures to ensure continuity of operations in the event of local disaster or displacement. The Executive Officer will coordinate with group executives to engage internal & external stakeholders, prepare draft communications, coordinate information exchange meetings, document action items and follow-up on completion, plan travel, assist filing vouchers, manage the discretionary budget and untangle money and schedule conflicts that arise during normal operations.

Desired Skills:
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 products
- Two years’ experience as a team leader or direct supervisor
- Familiarity with military ranks and protocol
- Demonstrated experience with the AcqDemo CAS2Net tools
- Two years’ experience using data analysis tools such as PowerBI and Envision
- Two years’ experience using strategic planning and tracking tools such as Confluence, Jira or Microsoft Project
Major Duties:
- Supervise 4 personnel in the front office group
- Coordinate information exchange between the 96th Range Group and its 96th Test Wing parent as well as the 5 subordinate squadrons; track, process & complete taskers
- Prepare and host stakeholder engagements, information exchange meetings, director’s calls, wingman days, staff meetings, etc.; track action items to completion
- Craft, populate and track operational metrics on group-level dashboards for activities under the purview of the front office group
- Serve as the 96th Range Group AcqDemo Paypool Administrator
- Coordinate and participate in 96th Range Group strategic planning efforts, track objectives assignments and track key results to completion.
Qualifications/Requirements:

- Knowledge of the operations, products, services, needs and goals of the programs and the organizations studied or served, and related customers, functions, resources and users at the 96 RN, 96 TW, AFTC, AFMC and AF levels.
- Ability to apply an exceptional degree of originality and foresight to anticipate major problems, make appropriate recommendations, recognize future program needs, conduct research, analyze, summarize results and develop policies for the full range of engineering management issues supported by the 96 RN.
- Ability to research, select and analyze data, use a personal computer to create and update databases, produce quality and productivity indicators/graphic presentations, interpret objective and subjective results and apply rules, regulations and procedures.
- Knowledge of personnel policies, practices and procedures affecting personnel and management actions across the 96 RN, 96 TW, AFTC, AFMC and AF to facilitate efficient execution of improvement initiatives.
- Ability to lead special project teams to organize, plan and execute complex, multi-faceted projects simultaneously
- Skill in written and verbal communication, interpersonal dynamics and diplomacy are required to obtain willing cooperation, maintain good working relationships and motivate positive participation of personnel representing conflicting interests or divergent views and backgrounds.
