About the Role:

The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time MARKETING SPECIALIST, NH-1101-02 to work at the AFTC/TSD-SV at Arnold AFB, Tullahoma, TN.

In this position you must have a talent for storytelling with data. We need someone who can go beyond just presenting findings. We're looking for an individual who can weave raw numbers and survey results into a compelling narrative that clearly shows the 'why' behind the data and persuades leadership to act.

Proactive and relentless curiosity. The ideal candidate doesn't wait for research assignments. They are naturally inquisitive, constantly digging into our business challenges, and proactively seeking out opportunities where data and insight can provide a competitive edge.

An aptitude for translating insights across departments. It's one thing to give a report to a manager; it's another to sit down with our logistics or design teams and help them understand how your findings directly impact their world. We value someone who can build bridges and ensure their research is not just heard, but is truly integrated into our operations.

Typical 2026 salary range VoP: $80,321-$97,953Per Year (includes Locality)

Desired Skills:

1. Three years of comprehensive marketing experience across multiple channels, programs, and research methodologies.

2. Two years of leadership experience directing marketing operations for Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) or similar marketing office.

3.Two years of experience creating promotional themes tailored to customer demographics to achieve key marketing objectives.

Major Duties:

Creates and implements comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate media campaigns, advertising, and sponsorship to achieve key objectives.

Conducts comprehensive market research and develops surveys to identify the needs and wants of target audiences.

Analyzes survey results and interprets diverse data to provide actionable reports that support management decision-making on issues like sales forecasting, facility location, and design.

Develops and recommends strategic marketing plans, policies, and programs in alignment with management principles and regulations.

Evaluates the effectiveness of implemented programs through follow-up research, providing feedback and recommending data-driven improvements to management.

Identifies potential target markets and develops strategic outreach plans and promotional programs designed to increase sales and engagement.

Determines the optimal promotion mix for each activity, including advertising, incentives, and publicity, and develops strategic recommendations for rate structures, facility changes, and service offerings.

Implements advertising campaigns across various media, such as newspapers and billboards, to inform customers about programs, services, and special events.

Develops targeted promotional themes based on customer demographics and ensures all advertising and publicity efforts adhere to established corporate standards.

Creates a wide range of promotional materials, including brochures, flyers, and articles, and collaborates with managers on merchandising and program design.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • KSA 1: Merchandising and Marketing Expertise-Ability to develop, execute, and refine marketing and merchandising strategies using established methods to measure success and drive customer participation.
  • KSA 2: Marketing Research and Analysis Skills:Ability to design and execute market research, from survey development to data evaluation, to build data-driven promotional campaigns.
  • KSA 3: Problem-Solving and Analytical Abilities: Ability to translate complex data and research findings into concise, actionable recommendations for leadership.
  • KSA 4:Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to prepare and present high-quality written and oral communications, demonstrating tact and diplomacy when interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
