About the Role:

The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Acquisition  Program Manager (NH-1101-03) to work at the Long Range Weapon Kill Chain (LRWKC) Program Office, 96 TW, Range Group,  (96 TW/RNXTL) at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.        

Selected candidate will Serve as an Acquisition Program Manager, directing and/or supporting the activities of a DoD funded acquisition effort.  LRWKC is a 5-year effort that will modify, upgrade, and enhance 96 TW range capabilities to support development & test of next-generation long-range weapons.

Location: Eglin Air Force Base

Typical 2026 salary range: $89,508 - $138,370 per year (includes Locality)

Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel possible

Areas of Consideration (AOC): Installation - wide (Eglin AFB, FL)

Incentives:

Desired Skills:

- 3 years Program Management experience in a DOW acquisition program office is highly desired

- Experience executing R&D funds, civil engineering task orders, and/or test range programs is desired

- Bachelors degree in a business-related major desired

Major Duties:

- Lead multi-functional teams developing new systems, modifying or upgrading existing systems, and/or integrating new and existing systems

- Apply program management skill and experience while planning and executing budget

- Deliver presentations on program status to leadership, including accomplishments, solutions, and future requirements for support

- Perform Risk Management, Resource management, and contractor oversight  throughout the acquisition lifecycle (focus on development and fielding)

- Tailor acquisition processes for speed while balancing cost, schedule, and technical performance

- Collaborate with warfighters and other stakeholders to identify and define requirements

-Manage available resources, consider alternatives, implement cost, schedule and technical performance tradeoffs to deliver quality products and services

Qualifications/Requirements:

             - U.S. Citizenship

- Skill and ability to plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research and development for a variety of acquisition functions to coordinate various aspects of systems acquisition such as engineering, contracting, financial management, configuration, test, and manufacturing.

- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.

- Ability to establish and maintain relationships in good standing with individuals and groups within program office and extended work unit..
