About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supply Technician Section Lead (NJ-2005-02) to work at the Civil Engineer Group (412 CEG/CEIHF) at Edwards Air Force Base. In this position you will operate the furnishings management program to provide furnishings and equipment support and accountability, administrative duties, customer service, and other assignments related to functionality, maintainability, habitability, and cleanliness of unaccompanied housing and other supported facilities. This is a drug tested position.

Typical 2025 salary range: $47,490 - $84,689 per year (includes Locality)

Major Duties:
- Responsible and accountable for all assets located in furnishing management warehouse and other approved locations
- Utilize a warehouse location system to illustrate item locations and independently/solely determine warehouse space allocation
- Request, receive, issue, store, and coordinate delivery and pickup of all Government-owned furnishings used in authorized facilities within established timelines
- Use material handling equipment to load and unload crated, boxed, or palletized items and to move assets within the warehouse
- Responsible for furnishings and appliances purchase, receipt, issue, installation, warranty tracking, maintenance, repair, and replacement
- Generate and track work orders for appliance or facility repairs and monitor status to ensure completion in a timely manner
- Responsible for 100 percent inventory of General Officer Quarters furnishings during change of occupancy
- Prepare and update annually one- and five-year long-range furnishings plans and ensure Commander approval
- Position requires lifting, extended periods of standing, stair climbing, stooping, and bending
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance (if applicable)
- Knowledge of Federal, DoD, USAF, and MAJCOM housing and furnishings management principles, theory, policies, directives, and procedures
- Knowledge of the principles of construction, contract acquisition, and program management
- Knowledge of appropriated fund budget system and common business accounting principles and procedures and generally accepted financial management principles and standards
