About the Role:
The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full Time Tools & Parts Attendant (Materials Handler) WG-6904-06 to work at the 412th Test Wing, 412th Maintenance Group, 412th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Raptor Aircraft Maintenance Unit (412 AMXS/MXAB) at Edwards Air Force Base.
The purpose of this position is to perform administrative and technical work in support of aircraft maintenance in the organizational Material and Services Support Section. Operating a Tool Room and performing minor HazMat distribution; to control CTK's, T.O.’s, Bench Stock, HazMat, CA/CRL, TMDE, Vehicles (VCO) and Production Control. Support T2-Modification work in acquiring unique materials, parts and chemicals.

Typical 2025 salary range: $28.77-$33.57 per hour (includes Locality)

Desired Skills:
- 1 year experience at WG-6907-06 or WG-6904-06 desired
- 1 year HAZMAT attendant desired
- 1 year tool room attendant desired
Major Duties:
- Controls Hazmat and supplies with a thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental rules, regulations, and statutes which are pertinent to the issues being worked
- Performs nonsupervisory trades and/or labor work
- Performs a complete range of standard receiving, storage, and issuing of assigned stock, tool kits, and/or equipment items
- Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Fills and issues HazMat kits in support of aircraft maintenance operations
Qualifications/Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship
- Obtain & maintain Security clearance (if applicable)
- This is a designated Drug Testing Position (if applicable)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)
- Must be able to qualify/maintain a flightline driver’s license, operate government vehicles and AGE
- Working knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s)
- Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures
- Knowledge of the use and maintenance of tools and equipment common to trades and labor work
- May be required to work irregular shifts and rotating shifts
