The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Program Manager Position Title (NH-1101-03) to work at the 96 TSSQ/RNXTL at Eglin AFB, FL.
PURPOSE: Serve as an Acquisition Program Manager, directing and/or supporting the activities of a DoD funded acquisition effort.

Typical 2025 salary range: $75,706 - $117,034 per year (includes locality)
Travel Requirements: Up to 25% travel possible

Desired Skills:
3 years experience in a DOD acquisition program office highly desired
1 year experience teaming with developmental testers desired
Bachelors degree in a business-related major desired
Major Duties:
Lead multi-functional teams developing new systems and/or modifying or integrating existing systems
Apply program management and planning execution, risk and opportunity management, and oversight throughout the acquisition lifecycle (focus on development and fielding)
Tailor acquisition processes for speed and effectiveness while balancing cost, schedule and performance
Collaborate with users and other stakeholders to define and manage technical and performance requirements
Manage available resources while exploring alternatives and cost, schedule and technical performance tradeoffs to deliver acceptable products and services within cost and schedule constraints
Incentivize and monitor contractor performance
Qualifications/Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship
Candidates must meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements, which includes achieving a "Practitioner" certification in "Program Management" within given grace period.
Skill and ability to plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research and development for a variety of acquisition functions to coordinate various aspects of systems acquisition such as engineering, contracting, financial management, configuration management, and test and integration.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships in good standing with individuals and groups within program office and extended work unit.
Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DOD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the systems acquisition process.
