About the Role:

The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Supply Storage and Distribution Supervisor, WS-6901-07 to work at the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Material Management Flight (LRS/LGRM) at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.

To exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work for stocking, storing, issuing, managing, inventorying, and inspecting supplies for the Material Management Flight.

Typical 2025 salary range: $36.39 - $42.47/hourly

Major Duties:

  • Plans on a weekly or monthly basis the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials in an organizational segment or group.
  • Assigns work to individuals and provides technical direction and/or help in accomplishing difficult work steps and processes. Investigates work related problems such as excessive costs or low productivity and determines causes.
  • Participates with employees in the development of performance plans.
  • Advises employees in advance of performance expectations and explains new work techniques, as required.
  • Provides a work environment that is free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Supports the agency’s EEO program through allocation of personnel to participate in community outreach and recruitment programs, ensures full cooperation of employees with EEO office officials.
  • Ensures education in, compliance with, and practice of security directives, good safety, and health habits in all work areas. Ensure employees with access to classified information comply with security directives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Obtain & maintain Security clearance
  • The work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. An appropriate, valid driver’s license may be required for the position.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.
  • Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
