F-15EX undergoes first operational test mission at Nellis AFB
An F-15EX Eagle II Fighter Jet assigned to the 40th Flight Test Squadron, sits on the ramp at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada, Oct. 15, 2021. Operational testing is happening 6 months after delivery of the second aircraft and 7 months after delivery of the first, which is a pace that we haven’t really seen in acquisition of new aircraft before.
