Operation Blood Rain

An Airman draws blood from a collection bag for a study called Operation Blood Rain April 20 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. Bags of blood were placed into a secure cooler then dropped out of an aircraft flying at a low level. The study was to see if the blood would be damaged in any way from the drop. (Courtesy photo)
