Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office has new director

EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. -- Lt. Col. Alec Spencer relieved Col. David Ramdoski as the new Air Force SEEK EAGLE Office director in a change of directorship ceremony here June 20.

Spencer previously served Team Eglin as the 96th Operations Group deputy commander.

“It is with a sense of purpose that I commit to leading AFSEO and serving at this critical time,” he said.  “We face many challenges ahead.  The real value of this office is its people.  Our greatest asset is the dedicated and talented individuals who work here.”

Spencer directs a staff of 200 military, civilian, and contractor employees and is responsible for a future year defense program budget of $346 million.

AFSEO is the Air Force center of excellence for aircraft-store compatibility, responsible for certification recommendations for all conventional and nuclear weapons, deployable countermeasures, suspension equipment, fuel tanks, and podded systems for the Combat Air Forces.

Using integrated engineering, digital modeling, simulation, and testing, AFSEO delivers war-winning capabilities by expanding the compatibility of state-of-the-art stores on current and future generation aircraft. In addition, AFSEO develops and maintains combat weapons delivery software for the Department of Defense and its international partners.
