Chief Master Sergeant JEFFREY D. MARTIN

CMSgt Jeffrey D. Martin is the Command Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Test Center, Air Force Materiel Command, Edwards Air Force Base, California. As the Command Chief, he is the principle advisor to the commander and senior staff on all matters pertaining to morale, welfare, professional development, training and effective utilization of the center's 18,000 military and civilian personnel across 3 military installations and 30 geographically separated units. The Air Force Test Center is a $31 billion enterprise that provides developmental test and evaluation of experimental and research manned and unmanned air, space and cyber systems for the military services, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) and international partners; as well as operates the Air Force Test Pilot School.


Chief Martin enlisted in the Air Force in September 1997 and graduated from the Electrical Power Production Apprentice Course at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. He has held a variety of leadership positions at the squadron and group levels in the Civil Engineering and Military Training Instructor career fields. He has deployed in support of Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation INHERENT RESOLVE, and Operation FREEDOM’s SENTINAL. Prior to this assignment, Chief Martin served as the Command Chief, 49th Wing at Holloman Air Force Base, NM.
