Colonel MICHAEL B. BAKER

Colonel Michael B. Baker is the Vice Commander for the Air Force Test Center.  AFTC is a 31 billion dollar enterprise of more than 18,000 military, civilian and contractor personnel across Edwards AFB, Eglin AFB and Arnold AFB.  Prior to his assignment as Vice Commander, he served as the Deputy Operations Group Commander at the 412th Test Wing at Edwards AFB, CA.

Lt Col Baker entered the Air Force in 2003 through Officer Training School. He has completed program management tours in both the F-35 and KC-46 program offices. He also has more than 2,300 flight hours in more than 30 aircraft types with operational and test experience in the C-17. He has flown combat missions in Operations ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, and HORN OF AFRICA.
