The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Logistics Management Specialist (NH-0346-02) to work at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC), Test Support Division, Logistics Branch (AEDC-TSD/LG) at Arnold AFB in Tullahoma, TN.

Incentives:

Telework Information:

Travel Requirements:

This position has a typical 2024 salary range of $39,576 - $94,317 (includes locality).

Position specific skills and experience desired in a potential candidate:
-Two (2) years of logistics management experience desired.
-Two (2) years base level materiel management (Air Force Specialty Code 2S071 career field) experience in the desired.
-Knowledge of basic laptop/small office computer skills and ability to learn new applications/programs used within the logistics career field are essential.

Mission/Purpose:
To serve as the logistics material and cargo management Contracting Officer Representative. Help develop and implement policies, plans, and procedures for integrated logistics support relative to material management, vehicle management, ground transportation operations, fuels management, traffic management, deployment readiness, and munitions management functions. Develop, evaluate, and document performance and compliance of contracted logistics support services.

Major Duties:
-Performs Contracting Officer Representative (COR) responsibilities for AEDC contracts
-Assists with assessing, planning, budgeting, and reporting on material management and procurement activities, freight movement operations, and vehicle maintenance and ground operations projects
-Oversees the proper implementation and application of the Cargo Movement Operating System (CMOS) for Military Standard Requisitioning and Issue Procedures (MILSTRIP) and non-MILSTRIP item shipments
-Coordinates and assesses material and equipment management activities of the organization, ensuring logistics management operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and meets customer needs
-Serves as Unit Deployment Manager (UDM); schedules readiness training and executes all movement of deploying personnel
-Serves as Government Purchase Card (GPC) holder
-Manages access to SIPRNet to perform related UDM tasks
-Performs logistics updates to Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) database
-Manages deployment Government Purchase Card (GPC) and purchases, manages, and maintains deployment equipment and clothing

Qualifications/Requirements:
-U.S. Citizenship
-Obtain & maintain appropriate security clearance
-Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station
-Work may require the employee to drive a motor vehicle. Must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate valid driver’s license
-Knowledge of the applicable logistics management principles concepts, policies, and laws to include standard Air Force logistics functions, programs, and systems
-Ability to identify, analyze, and translate complex information, make appropriate judgments, and evaluate options
-Skill gathering and analyzing data, delivering briefings, and making recommendations based on complex and diverse data
-Knowledge of basic laptop/small office computer skills and ability to learn new applications/programs used within the logistics career field. Ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation materials and charts/graphs is essential
