The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Security Assistant and Administrative Support Specialist (NH-0301-02) to work at the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Headquarters AFTC Director of Staff (AFTC/DSS) at Edwards AFB in Edwards, CA.

This position has a typical 2024 salary range of $46,020 - $109,673 (includes locality).

Position specific skills and experience desired in a potential candidate:
- 2 years of Special Access Program and Physical Security experience desired
- Proficient with self-inspections, accountable document control and inventories, and office administrative functions.
- Understanding and familiarity with facility management, military personnel transactional functions, and physical security compliance administrative requirements such as forms, alarms, and access control.

In this position you will serve as the primary office of Knowledge Operations for the Commander in executing administrative, security and commander support programs for the Air Force Test Center Headquarters and Command and Staff. Member will serve and assist security manager in implementation and administration of information security and personnel security programs by providing expert technical advice.

Major Duties:
-Implements and administers the personnel security program. Establishes local procedures for processing access requests for military, civilian, and contractor personnel.
-Assists in administration of programs for cybersecurity liaison, crisis action team, anti-terrorism, government travel card program and secure voice officer.
- Assist with HQ facility management to include space utilization, physical security, and resource protection programs.

- U.S. Citizenship
- This is a national security position. Must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information access eligibility.
- Some temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required
- The incumbent will be subject to random drug testing.
- Security Fundamentals Professional Certification
- Knowledge of information, industrial, physical, and personnel security concepts, principles, and practices to plan and implement security programs in these areas.
-Skills in developing, analyzing and evaluating security programs to meeting mission requirements and improve the security program for the organization.
